Ahora mismo estoy bastante encallado con la construcción del Palacio de Westminster, así que para amenizar la espera os traigo esta pequeña creación, un simple y vulgar castillo en Minecraft. 

No es muy grande, podríamos decir que es un fuerte, aunque tiene 4 pisos de altura (y 35 bloques de altura). Esta vez lo he decorado por dentro ya que es muy fácil decorarlo. Y para que juzguéis el castillo vosotros mismos, os dejo un link de descarga en Mediafire (el mapa es para la 1.9.2, aunque con algunas versiones más antiguas podría funcionar, como la 1.8).

Descanso un poco de la construcción del Palacio de Westminster y voy a mostrar un edificio que hice ya bastante en Minecraft, el popular rascacielos de Nueva York, One World Trade Center, más conocida como la Freedom Tower.

Este rascacielos (y unos cuantos más) se construyó para reemplazar a las Torres Gemelas tras los terribles atentados del 11S. Su altura es igual que las Torres Gemelas, 417 metros, y con esa altura no pude hacer la recreación a escala 1:1, la hice a escala 1:1,7 (es decir, 250 bloques de altura). Todo el edificio está hecho a mano e intenté hacerlo por dentro, pero eran más de 30 plantas. Tampoco me gusta mucho el color de la torre, que me quedó más pálida que la real. A pesar de esto, el edificio me quedó bastante bien recreado.

I rest a little of the Westminster Palace and I will show a building that I did in Minecraft, the popular New York's skyscraper One World Trade Center, better known as the Freedom Tower.

This skyscraper (and a few others) was built to replace the twin towers after the attacks of September 11th. Si el Big Ben es lo más emblemático del palacio, no cabe duda de que lo segundo es la Victoria Tower, no tan conocida como el Big Ben, pero es la torre más alta y grande del complejo, con 98 metros de altura (2 metros más alta que el Big Ben) y unos 15 metros de base. Al contrario que con el Big Ben, esta torre mantiene su forma cuadrada con esquinas que sobresalen de 15x15 bloques hasta la cumbre, que queda rematada con un tejado en forma de aguja y una gran asta para colocar la bandera del Reino Unido, todo esto rodeado de 4 torreones en las esquinas.

Realmente recrear esta torre me ha sido mucho más difícil que el Big Ben, ya que aunque mantiene su forma casi todo el rato, tiene muchos más detalles que la emblemática torre londinense. Además, añado que esta torre me ha quedado mejor recreada que el Big Ben, ya que le he dedicado el triple de tiempo (unas 6 horas divididas en 3 días). Aunque la torre mide en la vida real 98 metros, debido a las limitaciones que tiene el Minecraft me ha salido un pelín más alta, 106 bloques.

Estaba buscando algún edificio real para recrearlo en el Minecraft cuando pensé en hacer el Palacio de Westminster ya que hace unos días estuve en Londres, y personalmente me encanta. Podéis buscar información por Internet sobre él, ya que yo no pienso hacer un copy/paste de la Wikipedia aquí, es absurdo. El palacio estará recreado a escala 1:1.

Pensé que recrearlo yo solo sería una tarea muy difícil, ya que el palacio mide unos 350 metros de largo, unos 100 de ancho y 98 de altura, (1 metro = 1 bloque). Pero después de pensármelo más de dos veces, decidí hacerlo. Y decidí empezar por lo más emblemático del palacio y seguramente de todo Londres, la Elizabeth Tower, más conocida como el Big Ben.

La torre mide unos 13x13 bloques en la base, se extiende un prisma de madera de roble hasta la altura de unos 50 bloques, los siguientes 20 bloques son el soporte de los relojes y los relojes en sí (y donde están las campanas), y lo siguiente el techo de aguja que asciende hasta los 96 bloques que mide la torre (como en la vida real).

Mi nick es Adr18 y abro este blog para mostrar mis construcciones en el modo creativo del popular juego sandbox Minecraft. Creo que estaría bien enseñar mis proyectos (sean recreaciones de construcciones reales o bien proyectos totalmente inventados) y no dejarlos en mi PC sin compartirlo con nadie. Creo que construyo medianamente bien y sería buena idea enseñaros como construyo, a modo de tutorial, o bien vosotros ver mis construcciones y a su vez evaluarlas y criticarlas, para que mejoremos todos en el juego (a la hora de construir claro).

Supongo que mañana ya podréis ver la primera entrada del blog, ya que actualmente estoy trabajando en 2 proyectos a la vez. Para que os hagáis una idea de que van mis proyectos, he de decir que mis construcciones no serán tipo "una casa, un parque, etc." sino que serán proyectos de gran envergadura.

Sólo soy una persona, construyo las cosas yo solo, y como comprenderéis que una persona haga construcciones bastante grandes requiere de mucha moral (ya que normalmente acabo abandonando los proyectos) y es ese el principal motivo por el cual abro este blog. Para saber que realmente hay gente que le interesa lo que construyo y así aumentarme las ganas de jugar (porque al fin y al cabo Minecraft es un juego.

My nickname is Adr18 and I've opened this blog to show my creations in the  popular sandbox game Minecraft.
